Myth #8 Shell colour determines how healthy an egg is –
When we were child we were always said that brown eggs were healthier than cream or white. That is a totally myth. Shell colour has no relation with nutritional value – it’s purely depend on the breed of chicken. Furthermore nutrition of an egg depends on what the chicken eats, not on what colour the shells are. Also many people have a misbelief that only brown chickens can lay brown eggs.
Myth #7 Brown eggs are healthier than White eggs –
Because brown eggs are generally labeled as cage-free or organic and can be more expensive, you may wonder if brown eggs are really more nutritious than white eggs. Some brown foods are truly healthier than white, as is the case of brown versus white rice. But brown and white eggs are actually quite similar on nutritional basis. So there is no such difference between white and brown egg except their price.
Myth #6. Food poisoning from eggs is usual –
It is totally a miscoception. A study in 2002 proves that 1 in every 30000 eggs is infected. After Heating to 160 °F for just a minute is adequate to destroy salmonella. Few people have myths that as long as you boil egg it is safe but it is not the same.

The reply is NO. It’s a proof that you can safely eat eggs up to 3 weeks past code date – provide being stored in the refrigerator (at 0-8 C). Furthermore, there is none difference in nutrition between 1 day old egg and 2-month old egg.

2. Double yolk egg is harmful but bring good luck –
Egg with 2 yolks, called double yolk egg, are very rare. Their shells generally have a ridge in middle, as if two eggs are mingle together. Double yolk eggs are generally laid by younger hens earlier in their reproductive cycle. But, is double yolk egg safe to eat? YES, it is safe to eat.
Few people consider this as good fortune and yes they can be lucky as double yolk eggs are rare so distribution is restricted.
1. Do not eat eggs every day –
It is rubbish! Eggs are recommend for healthy eating. Cholesterol in diets is no longer a concern. Eating an egg everyday will not increase the risk to heart disease as scientist agrees that cholesterol in food like eggs has very little effect on blood cholesterol.
